Pre-enrolment
Prior to enrolling into one of our courses, we encourage you to please read through our policies, procedures and Learner Handbook linked in the footer. We ask that you do this so that you are aware of your rights, responsibilities and obligations.
Cohort
This is a targeted course delivery for our High Fidelity Training (HFT) role players who require currency in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Course Delivery
The combined first aid and CPR course is offered under an online only delivery. Upon enrolling into the course, you will be given access to the online learning platform where you will learn the knowledge required to perform CPR and provide first aid, as well as complete online assessment items. Please ensure that the address provided during your enrolment remains current for the term of your enrolment as we will be posting out a first aid training kit to be used for your online practical.
Online Practical Information
Upon completion/submission of all of your online coursework, you will be required to schedule an online practical with an Assessor. These online group practical sessions will be made available through our 10to8 booking system and will take place between 9:00am and 4:00pm. We recommend booking in these practicals as soon as you submit your final assessment. If you require assistance with booking, please contact the team on 1300 857 918.
As an online first aid course, you will need to have your first aid training kit on hand for the practical. This kit is posted to you upon enrolment/payment of your course.
Current training dates for online practicals, which can be booked in the 10to8 booking system include: 17/05/2022 (9:30am session or 12:30pm session), and 03/06/2022 (9:30am session or 2:00pm session). Additional dates and times will be made available on the system as these slots are filled up.
Upon satisfactorily completing both units of competency (HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and HLTAID011 Provide first aid) you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment.

Entry Requirements
It is important to note that the HLTAID competency standards do require a level of physical ability to meet the evidence requirements for assessment. It is a requirement that you are physically capable of performing ‘actual’ resuscitation performed on a manikin placed on the floor.
To Apply
Please click on the enrol button on the right to apply to complete this course. All learners enrolling must complete their practical with an Assessor on one of the available dates as noted on the 10to8 booking system.
